Our Pledges -
Cleaner Communities: We will fund an operative to help keep our streets clean by clearing litter, removing weeds and undertaking minor works. We will install new bins at suitable locations across Penderry ward
Investing in our local shops: We will support local businesses with grants of up to £10,000 and help improve, regreen, and refurbish our local shopping areas
Investing in Parks and Play: We will continue to invest in our parks and play areas, and create new sports facilities for local clubs to use at Clywd School
Supporting residents and local groups: We will work with charities and organisation to support residents who are facing poverty and have been hit by the cost of living crisis
Better housing: We will work with Swansea Labour council to continue to invest in our council homes and also continue to build new energy efficient homes in Penderry for residents
A bit about the ward …
We are committed to delivering a new shared sports facility at Clywd School and will ensure the facility is available for both school and community use.
We have also progressed the traffic calming schemes for Woodford Road and Broughton Avenue and full resurfacing of Heol Frank.
With your support on May 5th we will continue to work hard for everyone in Penderry Ward.
